Well, this week has been pretty busy, mostly with work. We stopped by Pathmark to pick up our Tyson Chicken that we had a rain check for, and yesterday went to Shoprite. At Shoprite we did really well. Our total came to $28.71, and that was after $37.52 worth of coupons! So we ended up saving even more then we spend.
Tomorrow we will go to A&P, to hopefully get the Dove Ice Cream for .25c from rain checks we have from a few weeks ago. The good thing is their rain checks never expire, so we’ll get the ice cream whenever they go back in stock.
The Rite Aid by me has a wonderful manager! I asked her when they would be restocking a few items, since I have been waiting for a few items for 3 weeks now, and they are still out of stock. She offered to order extra of the items, so that when I go on Saturday, they should be in stock! I was very impressed, and will definitely take my business there more often.
As for getting things in the mail, this week so far hasn’t been very exciting. We did receive 5 or so magazines, but that was about it. At least it’s still early in the week!

Well, not too much to report on the savings front, as we haven’t gone out much in the past few days. But, in the mail in the past 3 days, I have received:
1 free Schick Quattro Women’s razor
3 free magazines that we have subscriptions to (Popular Science, Good Housekeeping, and Windows IT Pro)
Today I also received 10 coupons for Tyson Pouch chicken that can be found in the refrigerator section, that are for .55 cents off of each (I ordered them off of ebay). Pathmark has them on sale through today for $2.99, and while $1.89 isn’t exactly cheap, it’s much better then the $4.99 regular price, and we really like them.
Unfortunately, when we got to Pathmark they were out of stock, so I got a rain check, and next week will go back to get 4 of them.
The new grocery ads will come out in the next day or so, and then I can start planning next weeks trips. Hope everyone else is having fun saving!

On Friday I was able to go back to ShopRite and get 8 more free Tropicana Twister drinks, as well as 6 more Purdue chicken nuggets for .49 cents each.
I also stoppped into Rite Aid to get more SoftSoap body wash, but they were out, so I got a rain check for 10..so later in the week I will stop by to pick them up. More free body wash!
Today in the mail I received a coupon for a free bottle of 7-UP. I had signed up to receive it a month ago, and am glad I finally got it in the mail. It’s fun getting free stuff in the mail!
I also received a copy of Good Housekeeping, one of the many magazine subscriptions we get for free every month.
Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like there are any great deals at the grocery store this week that I want to get, but we’ll see what other deals come up this week!

Yesterday was a lot of fun in getting more great deals, and stocking up our house!
We went back to Rite Aid, and got 6 more SoftSoap body wash for $15, and we’ll get $15 back on the rebate form. The first rebate I submitted already shows that they’ll give us $10 back for the 4 I bought the other day! So now I have a total of 10 new SoftSoap, for free, with a retail price of about $45!
We then stopped at ShopRite, and really stocked up. We got:
8 Tropicana Twister (for free after coupons),
8 Perdue Chicken Nuggests/Cutlets for 49c each, along with other stuff of course, but we will be going back to get 8 more of each of the above later this week.
In the mail this morning, I got 2 free samples! One of Dove Lotion, and the other is a Swiffer Duster.
So far, this week has been really great, with a lot of savings!
Hello everyone. Now that the blog has been moved over to Dreamline Savings I will be keeping up with it, letting everyone know when I find a good deal, or get some cool free stuff in the mail.
This way, you can see that it’s really easy (and takes very little time) to save a lot of money, without changing your lifestyle!
Here’s what I’ve gotten today:
We started off at Rite Aid, which is having a really great deal this week with 12oz Softsoap body wash! It’s originally $4.29, on sale this week for $2.49. On top of that, they have a $5 rebate when you buy any 2 products on their long list of items (many items from Dove, Neutrogena, etc..) and including of course, the softsoap. So for every 2 you buy, you’ll get $5 back! So you will end up getting softsoap for free. It says on the rebate it’s unlimited, and I even called them up earlier today to confirm it. What makes this especially great, is you don’t need to use coupons for it, so anyone can do it.
So far I have gotten 4, for a savings of $17.16 overall, or $9.96 after sale prices.
Went to A&P to get Dove Ice cream, on sale for $1.74, regularly $3.48. I had .75c coupons that double, so I was able to buy 3 at only 24 cents each! I would have gotten more, but they didn’t have many good flavors in stock, so I got a rain check for 4 so I can go back next week and get the same great price when they are in stock.
Savings of $9.72 if it was bought not on sale and without coupons, or savings of $4.50 just on coupons.
In the mail today, I received:
A sample from Dove that included 2 different types of Shampoo and 2 Conditioners, and
4 coupons that are each 5 free 2-liter Coke products from the contest going on during the Olympics = 20 free 2-liter Coke products.
Not too bad for a Monday, and I am already looking forward to some deals I’ll be doing later in the week! Hope everyone is going to have a good, money saving week!
