B&H has the Casio Exilim EX-Z85 for $114.95, regularly $179.99. Amazon right now has it for $149.00, so B&H has it for a good deal lower. Shipping is free.

February 5th, 2009B&H Photo – Really Impressed With Prices and Service
January 30th, 2009Over the past month, I’ve made a few purchases at B&H Photo, the most recent being a Panasonic 50″ Plasma TV. I have to say, I’m really impressed with them. First off, the prices for both items were the lowest there than I had found anywhere else – even including Amazon.
What I am also really impressed with, is their shipping times. The first item was purchased on Monday night, was shipped out on Wednesday, and I received the item on Thursday.
The TV was even more impressive. I ordered it this past Sunday, and got a phone call on Monday morning asking if I wanted them to deliver it between 2pm – 7pm, or 5pm – 10pm. THAT DAY. Talk about incredible. I chose between 2pm – 7pm, and by the middle of the afternoon had my TV.
They also had free white glove delivery, meaning not only was it delivered to my house, but they brought it in, took it out of the box, and placed it on the TV stand.
I had never ordered from B&H before this month, but I have to say that if I’m going to be buying something electronic, I’ll definitely be checking them out as one of my first stops.
Nikon D60 Kit With 18-55mm VR Lens & 55-200mm VR Lens
January 28th, 2009A few months ago, we decided to upgrade to a digital SLR camera. While we love our point & shoot, it just didn’t get the quality pictures we were looking for, and since we travel so often, we wanted to try something where we would get amazing pictures.
After a LOT of research, we decided on getting a Nikon D60 Kit. Based on all of the models, and different prices of the lenses, and the fact that we had a 10x zoom on our prior camera, we knew we wanted a kit that had 2 lenses. We also knew that we wanted VR lenses, because otherwise any pictures I would take would come out blurry. I can’t help it, but when I had a camera without Image Stabilization, at least half of my pictures were too blurry to use.
Well, when you’re looking at a purchase as big as this, you’re going to spend a lot of time trying to find the best price. After going to a lot of stores, and checking out a LOT of websites, we found that B&H had the best price for the Nikon D60 Kit with 2 lenses. They have it for $649.95, although you won’t find that out until you add the item in your cart. If you just look at the product, it says $849.95 and that you’ll get a $100.00 instant rebate.
What’s even better, is that $649.95 is the final price. Unless you live in NY, there are no taxes added, and shipping is free. We ended up buying this camera earlier this month, and have been very happy with it, and recommend it to anyone who wants a dSLR camera.
Panasonic 50″ Plasma TV
January 25th, 2009Since it’s the end of January, there have been a LOT of sales on TV’s, but I have to say I’m impressed with this one the most.
B&H has the Panasonic Viera 50″ Plasma (TH-50PZ85U) TV for $1,409.95. White Glove Shipping is free – meaning they will not only ship it to your house free, but will bring it to the right room, take it out of the box, and put it on the TV stand for you. Amazon has the TV for $1,458.00, which is great consideirng the TV retails for $2,199.99, but B&H is obviously an even better price!
Unless you live in NY, there are no taxes, so the $1,409.95 is your final price. We have looked all over the place, and except for Amazon, haven’t even found it close (within a few hundred dollars) anywhere else.
This TV got a lot of really great reviews, and has a lot of inputs so you can hook everything you want up to it, even a computer.
