British Airways – November Seat Sale

November 10th, 2009
BritishAirwaysNovemberSeatSale

British AirwaysClick Here is having a “November Seat Sale” with some really great prices! They are having their world sale that will give you great prices on airfare as well as hotel stays not only in London, but all over the world. I was really impressed with their prices.  I also usually only think of them as an airline to get to London, but was surprised that their prices are great for other parts of the world as well.

I looked at airfare from Newark, NJ (since I prefer to fly out of this airport), and to fly to London was only $229 each way, and only $239 each way to either Rome or Milan. I’ve seen prices a lot higher than that, so I was impressed. They also include prices for 3 or 6 nights at a hotel in each city, so it can be even easier to book your trip.

If you’re interested, you have to book by November 19th, although you can travel from November 17, 2009 – March 28, 2010 (excluding December 21-23 2009) and March 29 – May 23, 2010. The only exception is for travel to India where the travel periods are November 17 – December 10, 2009 and December 25, 2009 – May 23, 2010.

I’ve flown on British Airways in the past, and really enjoyed the flights. They have an “upgraded” experience where you’ll get over 200 on-demand entertainment options (so you won’t be bored if you can’t sleep during your flight!), complimentary food and cocktails on all flights, world class service, and a comfortable in-flight experience. What I really like is that they give you a blanket, cushions, eyeshades, and even flight socks to help you become more comfortable with your flight.

If you’re interested, they also have convenient lounges at Terminal 5, so you can relax while you’re waiting for your flight home from London Heathrow.

If you’re not sure where you want to go, you can look at British Airway’s destination guides, or if you’re traveling between NY and London, can visit MetroTwin.

Looking at all of these cities around the world that are included reminds me how I’m still looking forward to traveling to so many places in the future, such as Cairo, Istanbul, and Madrid.  If you’re interested, take a look, and finally take that dream vacation you’ve been waiting to book.
