Looking to get something for nothing? If so, you’ve come to the right place.
If you’re wondering how and why all these companies give things away for free, it’s not always out of the goodness of their hearts (although sometimes it is)! Usually it’s to get you to try their product, so that you’ll see that you really like it, and then you’ll want to keep buying it over and over again.
With magazines, they get paid by advertisers for having a certain amount of subscribers…so if they give you a free subscription, they can get even more money from their advertisers that more than makes up for you getting the magazine for free.
Here are a few freebies you can get right now. Note that some of them go fast!

Here are a bunch of free things you can get! There’s no catch, although sometimes it’s a good idea to use a separate email account instead of your regular one, just in case of spam.

We were just talking about Ziploc bags yesterday, so this is very good timing. Clean Home Journal (which is run by SC Johnson) each month has a giveaway. The first 10,000 people to sign up for each giveaway, will get whatever product sample they are giving out that month.
This month, the first 10,000 people to sign up will get two free Ziploc Brand Big Bags as well as $24.00 in coupons for SC Johnson products. The bags you will receive will be 1 XL Ziploc Bag as well as 1 XXL Ziploc Bag.
I have signed up for many of these monthly giveaways, and have gotten quite a few of them, so I know that they do come! So good luck to anyone entering, and hope you get the free Ziploc bags!

In honor of Earth Day, I thought today I’d share some of the freebies that we had in our newsletter. If you sign up for free (at the top of the page), you will get things like this (along with samples of shampoos, toothpastes, books, and more) sent to you twice a week! Here are a few of the freebies that were in today’s newsletter.

In the past week, I’ve gotten a lot of freebies! I usually receive at least 1-2 samples a week, but I got a lot of good things in the past few days.
First, I got a really nice hardcover cookbook from Gold Kist Farms called “Simply the best Chicken”. I’m pretty sure that one was a freebie that you got when looking over a few recipes and choosing which one looked the best. The book is 158 pages, and is really nice. I look forward to trying the recipes.
A second really nice freebie was the Slim Fast Starter Kit. It included a lot…a pedometer, a Slim Fast guide to weight loss success, a fashion tips booklet, a shopping list, and a bunch of coupons for Unilever products! I was really impressed with this!
I also received a few perfume samples as well as a shampoo/conditioner sample, but then again, those I usually get at least once a week!
All of these were in the newsletter when we found them, so hopefully you are subscribed to the newsletter, and also got these really great items!
This goes to show that you can ge

AdPerk is a great website where you can get free magazine subscriptions in return for watching short videos. What happens is you choose what 1-year magazine subscription you want to get, and then you earn the “credits” for it. You watch videos to get credits, and in just a short amount of time, you’ll earn enough to get a magazine subscription. Right now they have Ode, Popular Science, Alternative Medicine, and Good Housekeeping. You can do as many of them as you want! As of now I’ve done 3 and am already receiving my subscription to Popular Science! So it definitely works, and is 100% free!

As you can see at the top of our blog, we have a newsletter called the “Dreamline Savings Newsletter”. We have been asked what is in it, and why should someone want to sign up.
To learn the basics about the newsletter, you can look here.
What is the newsletter? It’s an email sent out twice a week, usually on Tuesday and Friday. In it, we usually have around 10-15 “deals”. We spend a lot of time researching prices - online, in stores, watching television advertisements, as well as looking at newspapers. We put the best deals in the newsletter both for online stores as well as local stores you can go to if you prefer to shop that way.
These deals are in a lot of different categories… clothing, electronics, DVDs, toys, kids stuff, things for the house, travel deals, and more. We also include freebies you can get (again, both online and in store). We also sometimes include different contests you can enter.
The point of the newsletter is to help you save money. There are so many ways to save money on almost everything, and let’s face it…sometimes you have to (or want to!) buy things. So why not get it as cheaply as you can? If you can get a DVD for $4.99 instead of $15.00, the money you saved can go in a savings account, or go towards a great vacation. If you love reading a certain magazine but don’t want to spend the money - you would be very happy to be able to get it for free.
We have seen so many “financial guru’s” go around telling people never to use a credit card, or don’t ever go out to dinner, buy new clothes, or do anything else that you might want to do. Of course these things will save you money, but that’s not realistic. Our goal is to help you balance things out. This way you can still go to the movies, go to your favorite restaurant, buy that shirt you’ve been wanting…but still have money to put into your bank account, and still be able to go on that vacation you’ve been dreaming about.
Every so often we also add tips on saving money, or really good deals that can’t be summed up in a sentence or two. The whole point of the newsletter (as well as Dreamline Savings in general) is to help you save money without changing your lifestyle. You want to save money, but you still want to be able to go out to eat, buy what you want, and go on nice vacations. The Dreamline Savings newsletter is just one more way we help you do this.
Also, if you’re ever looking for something in particular (say a certain brand of digital camera), or are looking if there are any coupons out there for your favorite store, just send us an email. We’ll do some research, and put the answers in our next newsletter!
If you have any suggestions on how to make the newsletter better, please let us know!
